Getting Confusion immediately with a 100 special stat and 90 speed is really good, and it could learn Psychic and Thunderbolt/Thunder by TM if you wanted it. When every single pokemon in the game was weak to one of those moves or had shit special anyways (or was also psychic type) means it could smack pretty hard consistently.
