I was considering the idea of Heatran running unchecked and being the cause for the region's extreme aridity. I suppose the region becomes more fertile once Volcanion defeats Heatran and most of the vast deserts become shallow seas and river deltas.
Anyways, bumping with more autism and an updated dex for a third version a la BW2 with a timeskip and the region looking less like Fallout's Mojave/Orre and more like Sinnoh's postgame island.
