>>17983055I know I'm showing my age here, but I was into the competitive scene way back when Red and Blue were first released. This was when there was no Smogon or anti evasion clause. Literally every team had one or two Pokemon with the moveset: Double Team, Swift, Rest, Sword's Dance. It was like the entire meta was all about who could evade quicker, rest, boost attack, and hit with shitty ass Swift to counter the opponent's Swift Dancer.
Really, it consisted of 2 or 3 swift dancers, Tobybro, Parasyrex, and Snorlax or a Legendary Bird. Seriously, that metagame was so shitty I'm glad that Minimize and Double Team is frowned upon.
