Expectedly then, she switches in Lucario; a pivot to Atlas and an Earthquake later, and the Lucario is down. She switches to Roserade and I opt to stay in to keep Earthquaking. She switches to her Milotic, and this is where I fuck up big time. She uses Surf once and it doesn’t do too much; I opt to keep Razor Leafing because I have Leech Seed and a Sitrus Berry and I assume it won’t OHKO. It crits, and does. Rest in Peace Atlas, I let you down. From there, Merzbow cleans it up with Grass Knot (which I should’ve switched too in the first place. In comes the real final boss: the Garchomp. I opt to set up Reflect with Merzbow, but then I remember that Brick Break breaks screens. Well shit. I guess my only move is to chip away with Psychic.
Then Cynthia does something inexplicable: she uses Giga Impact when Merzbow is in red HP. Holy shit, I have a chance. In comes Eno, uses Ice Beam. It doesn’t kill. Garchomp uses Earthquake, ENO FUCKING TANKS IT, and finishes off the Garchomp with another Ice Beam. From there, Lliira and Hippolyta clean up Roserade and Gastrodon respectively.And just like that, we are fucking Champions.
