Furthermore, to encourage sales, they also make new servers for Gen 7, and shut down the XY/ORAS servers. Afterwards, Mystery Gifts become code-distributed only, trading becomes region-locked, and... well, basically, everything that could go wrong goes horribly awry.
I wish for Pokémon following behind to come back. I'd even accept it if the really big Pokémon didn't get to do it. Sacrifices must be made as needed.
