Hoenn fans have gotten a free pass for so long despite being in love with a mediocre region that they think that with ORAS that shit flies.

Conversely, Sinnoh fans have been forced to defend their tastes constantly and have to acknowledge the D/P aren't very good games, and Platinum is the pinnacle of the region. Something Hoennfans are backpedaling on, pretending that R/S were always as good as Emerald besides Battle Frontier and that it was completely fine to just make R/S remakes without using elements from Emerald.

I don't care about catching the same Pokemon I've caught again and again even if it has a new move.

I don't care about some storyline explaining why Rayquaza gets to Mega Evolve and hold an item.

I don't care about going back to Hoenn.

The Battle Frontier was all I wanted. It represented the maximum fun potential for me.

Battles that are challenging but with a twist and being forced to adapt to different scenarios.

It was the playground I've desired since BW2 when Gamefreak didn't bring back a proper Battle Frontier.
