When XY first came out and I noticed how some flying Pokemon I liked, such as Swellow and Tropius, "soared" lifelessly with their wings stiff and outstretched, instead of flapping the way I'd always imagined. Meanwhile the limitations of the old games' hardware and software created much simpler sprites and models, but many of them had more character.
