>>39061996When the reveal trailer first dropped I was extremely disappointed with the starters and I'm still turned off by how linear the region looks. Knowing they'll charge $60 for this game, I'm probably done with following the Pokemon games; I've held onto the hope that they'll make them fun again for too long and the only reason I stayed on after B2W2 was because the 3D models were a welcome change to the awkward and jerky sprites of Gen V and SuMo's change to the overall look of the game and removal of HMs sounded very promising, but an open world can't save the now 4 year old graphics, especially since the Switch can do so much better.
All of my teams beyond HGSS have been meme teams or abandoned once the endgame came around beyond shiny hunting because my autistic brain likes grinding in JRPGs. Gimmicks like mega evolution and Z-moves only made me dislike battling even more, the games hold your hand harder than a crazy ex begging you to come back, and the stories have been getting more and more streamlined and boring for over half a decade now.
In short, I never planned on buying the games and I still don't because the memes and porn can be enjoyed without paying $60 to a company that has been dragging its fans through broken glass since 2012. Not being able to bring
clones of my OG Hoenn mons into this game and what
