Let me explain: In BDSP, Sylveon isn't in the game, but Eevee is. And with Home compatibility having been confirmed, this means any ribbon master Eevees would have to stay as an Eevee just to get the ribbon if it was going to be a Sylveon. And then it'd further run the risk of missing out *again* if they did they same thing again with future remakes. It's so miserable to think about..
