Bustling, loud, and celebratory, though even all of those words combined couldn't really match to what the city really is. It's more of an experience that needs to be had in real-time, with the wind in your hair, cheese fragrance in the distance, and Swirlix floating aimlessly in the air.
It's the yearly Kalos Fairy Festival. As its name implies, it's a week-long gathering to what most Lumiose citizens believe is "the cutest Pokemon type in existence", and to them, cuteness is something to be celebrated.
Fairy-types are everywhere, as far as the eye can see. There is no streetcorner that doesn't have a Sylveon nudging its trainer, or a Spritzee playing with a group of kids.
A particular toddler can't help but grin like a kid on Christmas when a walkabout costume Dedenne offers him a balloon shaped just like it.
"Huh? F-For me?"
The costume nods, and follows it up with a little delightful jig.
"Yaaaaay!~ Thank you so much!~" the two share a hug, a rather cute sight for sore eyes.
