It occurred to me that Joltik's spotlight hour will have both 2x catch candy, and the +3 candy on excellent throws.
If you catch a second stage Pokémon (10 candies) with an excellent throw (+3 -> 13 candies) and a silver pinap berry (x2.3 -> 29 candies), that'll double to 58 candies.
And with a max level mega evolution active, +2 for a total 60 candies in one catch.
Unfortunately, all the current raid bosses are base or first stage Pokémon, and spotlight hour means you aren't likely to find much else.
