Managed to luck into an Onix in Union Cave by Repeling to the second floor, hopefully it lasts to the point where I can evolve it! Bugsy was no joke, his Scyther's U-Turn dealt 15 out of Zirconix's 36 max HP unboosted, and that's through 56 Defense! There were definitely a couple of points where if Zirconyx got crit he would have died but fortunately enough no crits were had!
Also did the Rival battle, nothing too crazy happened and Understand was able to withstand Croconaw's crit Bite without too much fuss. Rat-at-'em and GrandVol helped out here, though GrandVol didn't really do too much since it got hit hard enough on the switch that I didn't want to risk it dying against Croconaw. Next up is Whitney, really hoping Zirconyx can deal with her Miltank!
