Have you ever noticed Pokémon GO is officially spelled like that, with 2 capital letters? While it's CLEAR that no official source has ever used this pronunciation, it seems evident to me that when the name GO was pitched, it was actually originally planned to be pronounced Pokémon G.O., as in Pokémon Geo.
