I've told him before sometimes it's better to just bring your idea to a petri dish and demonstrate it in action rather than spent 3 hours asking why it can't happen. He's asked me extensively about music before, and while he's sincere and I appreciate it, things either get restless or just going in circles after a while once we get into a disagreement.
While I can understand angst and past shit that happens, I can't understand putting it past oneself for both the betterment of the project and relief in one's personal life.
I'm not that integral to the project anyway so I doubt what I say would make a difference on what the masses think.
Sometimes Maj is stupid, sometimes he's right. Just like any of us. He's just stern about it and public information about his mental health concerns makes people think less of him. I would recommend people not do that because I'm sure the golden rule applies here, but this is 4chan.
