I know how autistic this is going to sound, but fuck it. I have been losing sleep over this. The closer the 16th gets, the more worried I get.
For the last months I have been trying as hard as I could, and in every way I could, to show people just how disastrous Let's Go could be for our beloved franchise. Yet the day is almost here and I wonder if I could have been done more.
I still wonder why so much people refuse to listen to reason, too. Quite honestly, this has made me think humanity is doomed, but I'll worry about it some other time.
What I'm concerned about today is Pokemon.When I was a kid, I dreamt of the day we would get a 3D pokemon game on a real console. How amazing that game would be! So, naturally, after having devoted so many years of my life to this franchise, now I feel cheated and betrayed, but mostly scared. Pokemon has the potential to be the best franchise in history. I'm not going to rant about how Masuda has become mental and is driving it to the ground. At least he might not direct future games in the future.
But we are far from safe. Just think about what WILL happen is LGPE is a success. Pokemon games will be ruined forever, or at least for a decade or two. I'm honestly getting angry as I type this, because I can't undertand why so many people would support this... genocide. But they are and that is a fact, so we have to fight back in any way we can. Of course, we can't stop people from committing the suicide that is buying these games, but what we CAN do is not to buy them ourselves.
So please, please, PLEASE, don't buy LGPE. Just don't. Please.
