>>44798153Not really. I've completely maxed out my shiny Blastoise minus getting him to 20/20 5*, and he's still underwhelming. The two eggmons that have any sort of utility are the tech Kabutops and tech Blastoise (both of which can be shiny) because they have sandstorm and rain dance which are both useful, but without sync grids they're pretty damn useless.
That's not to say they're totally unusable, you could probably build a team around them, but even the freebie story units are better because they're getting sync grids.
