I think it's safe to say this is easily the greatest set of starters so far. None of the designs look bad in the slightest. Cinderace looks better than Incineroar and was given a clever variation of protean to suit its soccer player inspiration, Inteleon looks like a sleeker, stealthier water Sceptile and has probably the most unique body shape out of any starter, and Rillaboom is a cool gorilla with wild hair and a fun drummer inspiration. All of the pre-evolved forms look great, too, with my favorites being Sobble and Raboot.
The gen 5 starters are probably the second best starter trio, but they still don't even come close to how amazing the Galar starters are. If it wasn't for the fact that they're the starters from the newer generation, I seriously doubt anyone would hate them.
