i remember going to this convention with my bros during the time of black and white 2
>they had a bunch of vidya tournaments going on and i had pokemon black, so i entered i entered to a tournament

the other people who entered the tounament were
>an elder tier fat neckbeard wizard with a japanese version
>a guy cosplaying as a trainer
>a trap maid cosplayer
>a chubby fujoshi
> and 2 kids
>my second match in the tournament was against one of the kids
>the kid was fat and had a full gen 5 team
>when he saw that my trainer looked different he said something like "Wow a battle between the 2 heroes of Unova"
>my team at the time was gen 1 and 4 pokemon
>"Wow your Charizard survived the best attack of my Emboar, Kanto pokemon are strong"
>Suddenly an old guy in the crowd gets close to me and whispers " did he lose already? we have to go to another place"
>I look at the other competitors battling
>Wizard is destroying the other kid with no mercy
>ok screw it this kid loves pokemon probably even more than anyone else here
>i let him win, and i go back to see how my bros are doing at their tournaments
> later see the kid leaving the convention super happy because by beatinbg me he got in a high enough place to win a pokemon poster
