Back in like 08 I used to be a contributor on there, even wrote articles for the site. I was gonna get a badge for it and everything, I made the D/P Porygon2, Porygon-Z, Crawdaunt, Alakazam, and Magmortar pages, and a few others I'm forgetting. Anyway there was a select few mods that didn't like my attitude or something and kept starting flame wars in every thread I posted in until eventually I left the site forever.
I just got Pokemon XY and want to get back into it but I'm steering clear of smogon. It's an old boys club, was then, and I'm sure it's even worse now.
Firebot development lab used to be a fun forum to browse though in the glory days; all the brazilian netbattle memes were such a laugh.
