They don't need to have high BSTs, or overpowered abilities, but they need to be capable of performing some role at least somewhat well. Normal Sandslash is actually already fine, stats are lackluster but mono-ground is an amazing typing and EQ+Stone Edge is always potent. Plus having Rapid Spin and the occasional ability to sweep with Sand Rush, it at least has something.
These guys need something better with abilities. Ice/Steel has a lot of bad weaknesses, and resists uncommon attacking types. Not much short of Tyranitar can handle being weak to so many things.
Sandslash has been my fucking bro since Gen1, I'd love for this ice version to be good, but that's not happening with Snow Cloak.
