The snivy line, the smug leaf meme was so strong back in those days, but GF didn't do anything with the line, aside from letting ash catch a snivy, (and maybe trip beating ash with a level 5 snivy) but aside from all of those, they pretty had a chance to make BW that more loveable by just simply letting snivy evolve, but they passed over in favor of the fire type, but even then pignite wasn't even the shill Mon. Krookadile was. unless you count Charizard too, but pretty much BW was a miss opportunity.
