How come with all this nugenner/genwunner bullshit nobody. AND I MEAN NOBODY realise that we've been sold Red/Blue for over 20 years now. I mean that litterally.
Now i can hear some of you say "but anon you fucking cuck, we only got red and blue games once!" Now relax and take deep breaths as I slowly stretch your mind so i can insert this thick bit of knowledge into you about the secret of the main line games (not counting remakes or third versions and ill explain why later)
Trust me it will be painful at first but youll come to love it.
So we got red and blue.
Pretty self explanatory with the boxes being litterally red and blue. Lets move on.
Gold and Silver are next. Its obvious which one is the blue in this scenario since the box for silver is just a shiny off-blue and lugia has alot of blue to it.
Ho-oh is easy enough to assign to red because its fire type, but when the released the people buying it wouldnt know so how do we draw to this conclusion?
Simple with Ho-ohs warm colors.
Gen 3 is gen 1 over again only more obvious, next.
Gen 4 is tricky. But dialga is the blue and pink palkia is the red, though this is the first time the name of the "red game" is typically said last.
Red/Blue
Gold/Silver
Ruby/Sapphire
Diamond/Pearl
Anyway lets move on
Gen 5 is interesting because unlike all the previous games we have no colour association to go on. And would need to know the types in order to put a game in either spot.
Luckily black2/white2 fixes this dilemma for us and they arent third versions but sequels. So they count.
X and Y is back to easy thinking. Big red bird with a big red logo, big blue deer with a big blue logo. Next
Sun and moon
Again pretty simple. The box for sun has a bunch of red and orange and yellows, colours associated with the sun. Moon box has blues purples and stuff on it for the same purpose.
