Geeta takes a deep interest in people with talent so I don't think her keeping a close eye on Nemona is anything odd. She pretty much does the same with you to the extent of randomly barging into your room and then immediately wanting to come to your house too(and has Larry working 3 jobs in an attempt to get him to give a fuck about battling). I don't think them being siblings would add much in the first place since they already have an interesting relationship and parallels in their writing. They're both isolated by their talent and passion and Geeta is envious of your relationship with Nemona and clearly wanted someone to clash and grow alongside herself. All they need is the screentime.
I wouldn't particularly mind if it ended up that way but I just don't see it. Nemona clearly knows who her sister is and it would be very weird for her to just not have brought up that it's Geeta the whole game.
