Gave Volcanion a whirl, thank you pastebin, had to see how bad the movie that seemingly killed the TV tie-ins could possibly be. Yeeeeah it is pretty bare. None of the characters or plot points go anywhere and we ditch the cool gear city and Clemont's potential best day ever after 10 minutes to take metal Shaymin back to gracedia garden again. I liked crotchety Volcanion a whole lot more than I was expecting, as I should because he carries the movie, and I can't help but appreciate the X&Y era action bits that should be have been a given in ALL of these movies.
Also, when did the backgrounds, CG elements, and characters start clashing so terribly with each other? DP, BW? The former two usually look really good while the latter just look flat and low detail when set against them.
