So Skyline. I find out that I was washed ashore after a ship, headed to Kanto, was attacked by a large Water-type Pokémon.
There's some guy named Joseph giving starter Pokémon to two guys named Jerox and Jude. He leaves without seeing me, and Jerox and Jude battle me, using a Lv. 5 Torchic and Lv. 6 Chikorita, respectively.
If you go back to Starlight Beach after this, you'll find Joseph just standing around being sad. If you talk to him, he notices that the Eevee is his and asks if it really is.
If you say yes, he takes it from you and gives you a starter that happens to be
>Squirtle
But I've used Squirtle three times in my /rhg/ playthroughs so far so I answered no and got away with stealing his Eevee. He also gave me a chance to nickname it.
