>>44381622I appreciate the interest, never thought I'd get the chance to share this to be honest but it's really fun and it gives an excuse to play around in different ways than usual, plus having tankier mons, with more HP and defences means you can do ridiculous shit like stalling in-game with toxic, leech seed, substitute for example to beat the E4 underleveled, as a fun little challenge to do.
That gyarados for example is going to be one hell of a monster with dragon dance, EQ and trash which hits everything but a few # of pokemon for at least neutral and has the added utility of learning surf to ferry me around.
I hope you have fun with it, Emerald has the benefit of having a lot of mons to choose from, and it has more in the zarafi zone, plus harvesting berries to use for in-game strats is fun too, collecting volcanic ash to make flutes while you hunt for a skarmory(or get yet another shiny spinda).
