>SM’s bad days are better than XY’s good days>SM’s good days are better than XY’s good daysThis is wrong
And you failed to address the point that the good animation is incredibly inconsistent. Yeah duh, lots of anime, especially weekly aren’t gonna have the best looking episodes all the time, but SM makes it look TOO noticeable. Simple art style + bad animation = shit.

>muh comedyWho the fuck cares about comedy in Pokémon? Even in the games and spinoffs, the comedic factor comes from the absolute bullshit dry dialogue the characters have. That’s one of the reasons why people went so crazy over Masters. Why are you watching Pokémon, a series about monsters fighting, looking for a laugh? Are you autistic?
Also what time progression are you talking about? One of the biggest complaints about SM is its pacing. Everything moves at a slog fucking pace and shit just happens at random. Ash just randomly decides to go do his next trial, UB’s just pop out of wormholes whenever with no actual explanation on why, characters, especially the important ones, don’t appear until late into the series or do appear somewhat early or after a good amount of time but either never show up again or are relegated to a short cameo at the next big gathering.
And you must be a complete moron if you think Ash didn’t have relationships with the Gym Leaders in Kalos. Literally the first ones he had camaraderie with were Viola and Grant. Did you forget how he traveled with Clemont and Korrina? Ramos constantly giving him sage advice? The fact that they all came to Ash’s side at the climax of the Team Flare arc? Besides for the Grand Trials, Ash doesn’t even talk to the Kahunas. Before his League match, when was the last time he even interacted with any of them? His relationship with Hapu sure is great seeing how they haven’t even spoken to each other since the League started, amirite?
Fuck you anon
