That said, it's not all that great in comparison. Kushiro has a lot of rivers more akin to the route west of Pastoria. The also has a lot of mud, but the toured area is a lot more compacted reed beds that create bog of compacted plants. This wasn't really reflected too well in the execution of the great marsh. This along with the train and binoculars in game being tedious made me personally dislike it.
