This combined with the fact that at least one of the vaccines needs to be reupped once every 4 months means masks are still going to be necessary, that is to say: the masks probably aren't going away anytime soon. Especially not for people who work customer service or do front line work. Even when the vaccines are spread out to all Americans.
You remember when some scientists were saying this shit might be with us for the next 100-200 years or so? They weren't fucking around when they said that, it wasn't an exaggeration because they thought the vaccine would take longer. Shit sucks.
