gen 8 was a massive dropoff from those that came before it (not like they were much to write home about either)
unless you are a child and is your very first pokemon generation there is almost nothing to miss here
I'd like to believe that there's nowhere to go but up but nothing we've seen from gen 9 gives me any hope
