>>48155809It's free, so there's no harm in at least trying it out for yourself.
Just know that a lot of the time, especially starting out, your teammates will be literal children and other casuals who don't know anything about MOBAs.
Grinding for item upgrades does take awhile at first before you start accumulating tickets, but at least you don't need to use real money.
The real grind are the pokemon themselves.
You only get 2100 coins a week from battles, and 1000-ish from dailies and other challenges, so it'll take you like two weeks to grind for even the cheapest of mons, so make sure you pick someone you think you'll like before you buy them.
You can try out mons in the practice area to see how they play.
Also Cinderace is a pretty good pick, like A-tier.
Feint (a quick dodge) and Blaze Kick (has i-frames and does good damage) are the go-to moves for it.
As for items you can't go wrong with Muscle Band (more damage on basic attacks), Focus Band (restores a bit of health when you get low), and Buddy Barrier (which gives you and whoever you're next to a shield whenever you use your Unite move).
You could also get Score Shield for protection when you're scoring points.
There's more items but it's best you at least try the game to see what else it has to offer.
Sorry about the wall of text, but I hope at least some of this helped.
Also if you see an item called the Coin Boost Card, please for the love of god do NOT buy it.
It doesn't actually give you more coins, it just makes you reach the weekly limit twice as fast.
It's a fucking scam.
