Last year I did a little thing where we take creatures from other franchises and give them pokemon typings. It started off as being limited to video games before it went to anime/toku/manga/etc. Only rule is that it should at least match the egg groups.
In addition you can give them a dex entry,moveset, or ability as well. This is 100% optional though
