These guys are screwing Duel Links, a mobile app that's been making them a buttload of money since inception. Now it legit seems they are trying to kill the game by turning it into a gacha and weed off whatever money they can get so they can move on to the next YGO game.
The anime is not in a good position either. VRAINS has been recaps for most of its episodes now and its director quit at only 8 episodes in because it was that bad.
TCG is filled with constant powercreeps. The TCG championships were a week ago and it was all one deck. Same with the Duel Links championship except they had to force deck diversity so it wouldn't be like TCG's where everyone plays only one deck.
Poor YGO, It has so much potential but Konami keeps railing it over
