Their dub of Chronicles, which Legend of Thunder was part of, is among the worst of their Pokémon dubs, being more on pair with their more notable butcher jobs. Eusine was called Eugene in that dub even though he was correctly called Eusine in the TV series for fuck's sake.
It's been pronounced correctly in Gen 2 (Johto Pokérap, Stadium 2) and Gen 6 (Generations).
Another point on how bad 4Kids was with Pokémon during Gen 3, they made a Pokérap for Hoenn where they pronounced Groudon and Kyogre as "Grew-don" and "Kee-oh-gree". They even called Beldum "Bedlum".
