But in all seriousness. Pokemon to me is a fun, cute hobby for people of all ages to enjoy. Its one of those rare games for me that makes turn-based battle fun.
It's got so much depth and effort put into it's designs for something which can be at times pretty silly.
Now yes, the new game obviously is falling pretty short of everyones expectations for what we've come to expect from the series. But at the same time, there is something kinda charming about seeing Kanto again, even if we have seen it a dozen times already.
Maybe it's just my nostalgia, or weakness for cute things. But I can't bring myself to hate the new game.
