I was looking at some of the cards in temporal forces and realized I don't know what the design philosophy is with single-prize cards. There's shitty EXs and Vs but you can usually tell what they were going for. I don't understand what the point of most cards in these sets are, they are genuinely worthless. Oh, I can evolve this guy twice to hit for 120 with three energy? Awesome! Are these cards really just here to not be good so you buy another pack?
