They took a page out of Zelda's book and went full Link's Awakening. The game now can retain it's charm while being viewed in a new graphic style.
More so, by going with a simpler design it doesn't undercut the real highlight which is Legends: Arceus. Which in its self is a god send since this will allow for the games to try new things without sacrificing a whole generation to get things right.
I'm not saying these games will be good, but God damn at their lowest point, after the bullshit that was SwSh, Pokemon is actually manning the fuck up and taking a step in the right direction.
