because at one point you will try to give depth to the specific mon that appear in one part of the story but then your world will not make sense when not every mon has that amount of depth
even if you just count typings (and their combos) that will be a lot of unique behavior each mon will have
to add to this i have no idea what the Normal typing adds to the combos
