During the fire trial in SM I was all set up to do the challenge. I've played a lot of games that do the "repeat the pattern" or "find the differences" minigames, and I knew how brutal they could get if you didn't focus closely. I was a little excited to have a difficult challenge and perhaps even fail the trial on my first go.
The first marowak was easy, and I was expecting it to ramp up in difficulty, but the moment that hiker appeared on screen I remember just getting so disappointed. I should have known better than to expect even just a little bit of a challenge. They sure tricked me.
