For Singles, consider Cloyster.
Cloyster @Focus Sash
Skill Link
Naughty - 252 Att / 252 Speed / 4 SpAtt
-Shell Smash
-Icicle Spear
-Rock Blast
-Surf
Naughty is generally the better nature for extra power, but Naive allows you to beat out Scarf 110s (and is the better PvP nature). You go mixed to take advantage of physically defensive Steels that resist your Ice/Rock coverage, and because Surf (90 base/100 acc) does similar damage and is more reliable in the Tree than Razor Shell (75 base/95 acc) post Shell Smash due to Cloyster's fairly mixed base offense stats.
Cloyster is the best Shell Smasher in the game for singles Tree. Minior's niche is the status immunity of Shield's Down/form change, but Cloyster's stronger offense and Focus Sash allows it to shine as the better booster. Its low SpDef allows it to 'cheat' AI, which prioritizes getting KOs when possible, allowing Cloyster to regularly proc the Focus Sash without having to worry about more dangerous moves like Thunder Wave/Confuse Ray/Will-o-wisp/etc (exceptions apply, like TR mons whose AI prioritizes setting up TR above all).
Cloyster's average stats are carried by its high base powered Skill Linked moves, which break Subs/Sturdy/Sashes and has a higher 'chance' of critting. Icicle Spear is a 188! base powered move after STAB; Rock Blast is a 125 base powered coverage move; Surf is 135 base post STAB and hits on the Special side to get 2HKOs on bulky Steels that can't be powered through with Ice/Rock (ex. Steelix, Skarmory, Aggron, etc).
Ice/Rock/Water offers great coverage, leaving you only walled by the likes of Empoleon, though certain Steels/bulky Waters can remain an issue.
With just Cloyster and Garchomp and a suboptimal third, I was able to get to ~45 in Super Singles, and know that I can comfortably reach beyond 50+ when I swap Mimikyu for the planned Megagross.
