And technically they would be right. Even though the end result is the same, you can't deny that Pokegenning to get to that result is cheating.
I won't say that there isn't a certain allure to being able to punch in a few options and numbers and getting your dream team in a matter of minutes instead of days, particularly if you've got a busy work schedule and just don't have the kind of time to put in that commitment towards breeding and team building when all you really want to do is fight in battles.
So while I won't demonize people who cheat to take that shortcut, I can't say I'm exactly on their side either. I can easily see why others would get irate after putting in the work while others are simply taking the easy way out.
At the end of the day my view of a person comes down to their attitude. If a Pokegenner openly admits that they're cheating to get their team, but also admits that they just don't have the time to breed, I can sympathize. But if they vehemently deny that what they're doing is cheating and mock those who do decide to obtain their teams through legitimate means for wasting time, then they just come across as complete jackasses.
