Been watching through some old Diamond & Pearl episodes recently and I found this. THIS my dudes is why Dawn is actually the best girl. Misty and Iris need not apply, Serena had that gay crush shit going on, May was just basically an inferior Dawn to me. I know this is said a lot but the dynamic between Dawn and Ash is really enjoyable. I still prefer XY to DP any day but Dawn is better than Serena. Luckily XY was moreso about Ash than anyone else.
