>>55009851>VS HauBarmton Keep takes a Psychic blast from Raichu while setting up Stealth Rock; after protecting to get some Leftovers, Barmton takes one more Psychic and beats Raichu with Earth Power.
Crabominable is in next and Gigatron tanks an Ice Hammer; as the foe uses Power-Up Punch, Gigatron sets up Agility for whichever opponent comes in next and then beats Crabominable with Iron Head.
Next comes Flareon and it is a war of attrition between it and Paradiso, changed back into his Fire-type form; he tanks the enemy's Flare Blitz attacks and heals off the damage with Roost.
This continues until Flareon is in range to fall to Paradiso's Air Slash; Primarina replaces the fallen Eeveelution.
Paradiso quickly U-turns out to Enigma IX the Decidueye, who withstands a Z-powered Hydro Vortex before besting the Water-type starter with a critical Leaf Blade.
Up against Noivern, I consider staying in and tanking an Air Slash with Enigma's held Coba Berry, but I decide against it and switch Yulong into the foe's Dark Pulse; I made the right choice.
Yulong, with his Haban Berry, weathers Noivern's Dragon Pulse and kills with his own Dragon Pulse.
Tauros is the final opponent and I switch to Li'l Scray to tank its Double-Edge attack.
Unfortunately, I forgot to reteach Brick Break to Li'l Scray, so I have to swap her out for Barmton Keep who is unaffected by an incoming Double-Edge.
Barmton Keep is hit by one last Earthquake attack from Tauros before defeating the foe with Earth Power and securing our title of Champions.
And that's my run of Ultra Sun done and dusted. I had never played USUM until doing this run and it has quickly become a favorite among the vanilla games for me. I had planned to do this run way back when I started my run in Y and to finally play through it feels like an accomplishment a long time in the making.
Now I have another game to fuel my shiny hunting addiction.
