I feel more warmed to some mons more than to others. For example, my SS Lucario is the best Lucario because when it was in my brother's Platinum as Riolu, it was the first Pokemon I ever got to use. He said I can raise it to Lucario if I wanted. I did it and when I got SS he gave it to me along with Gardevoir because I liked Gardevoir too.
My brother is the most important person to me, and that Lucario was the first Pokemon I got to play and the one that got me into the fanchise. So this is why I am more devoted to it than to my other Pokemon. I don't recycle him because he is level 100 already so she would make shit piss easy, but I use Lucario in my team whenever it's possible, but no matter how many 'carios I have, she stands as my 1st cario and is muh niggah.
But in the end, Pokemons are just lines of code to me. I can box my starters without regrets and I switch Pokemon during the run etc.
