Tonight I'm trying to satisfy my inner child and complete Pokemon Stadium 1.
Only problem is the Elite Four/Gary are a lot tougher than I remember.
Now, I've gotten to Gary twice now (out of four attempts over all) and the little dingus keeps beating me.
What are /vp/'s recommended Pokemon rental teams?
So far I've been settling with Pokemon that use moves outside of their type (like Haunter has thunderbolt), usually because of the benefits of doing so. For example, Zapdos (as recommended by some online guide) was my appointed electric type, until he missed five consecutive hits in a row. Although thunderbolt is weaker, the accuracy guarantees me more stability. Also another being Starmie being a water type and being able to use thunder against other water types. You see where I'm going with this.
But while i'm still trying the Elite Four with the rentals, I'm waiting on a Transfer Pak. So soon enough I'll be able to use useful Pokemon.
With that in mind, what are /vp/s recommended Pokemon for the Elite Four?
Any info in that regard will be useful, as I am currently training a squad on my Pokemon Yellow/Blue.
I say squad, so far an Alakazam and a Charizard.
Any tips would be appreciated greatly
