After exploring Slateport and catching Splashley the Magikarp, I decide to keep going until Mauville. Those fuckers wont let me go through the Cycling Road just because I dont have a bike... Bullshit.
As I push my way through Electrikes and fake Pikachus (evolving Rabies in the process), May is in my way. And she wants to battle. When you're put under pressure by a fucking Wingull, you know you're in for some shit.
Her Wingull refused to fall, and dealt a lot of damage to Lizzy before falling. Lombre wasnt that much of a problem and got rekt by Trap-Waifu's Confusion... And then, her fucking Combusken. That fucking monster came and almost one-shots Trap-Waifu with EMBER. Fucking EMBER. I retreat the poor trap, and send Rabies to Sand-Attack the shit out of it. It works... Until that fucker hits, crits AND burn Rabies. Poor doggie is down in 1 hit. He will be missed. Truck-kun deal with the rest of the battle easily.
This was a nice piece of humble-pie, hard to swallow. I loved that doggo so much, even if it was a shitmon. You'll be avenged, Rabies... I swear.
Now, i'm training for the third Gym. Kinda bummed by the loss, but i'll keep going. For Rabie's sake.
