>>53537822And, as has been brought up a thousand times before, that blatantly doesn't work for Violet, doesn't explain why they disappeared between Heath's expedition to the bottom and Sada building the machine, and doesn't explain why Arven explicitly says "this is weird."
>>53537843> tone machine was used as intended to create a bootstrap paradoxThe point of the time machine is to bring Pokemon from the distant past or distant future to the present to create the professor's paradise. If it works as intended there is no reason to assume it would interact with a time period within 200 years of the present. If it failed at times that could explain why they showed up for Heath, but I would assume out of the various reasons AI Sada/Turo has for wanting to turn it off mentioning it just launches shit at random sometimes sounds like an important thing to say to convince us for help. It also still fails to address things like the supposed blueprints in the Books when the only logical source of them so far (the AI Professor) has no reason to give them up without also assuming the AI suddenly freaks out or reaches a conclusion it has no reason to reach as presented.
>>53537856>That's a massive stretch actually. Even the last wish granting pokemon has never been shown actually granting wishes.Jirachi has been shown to grant wishes pretty much everywhere outside of its debut movie, where that Jirachi just moved things around actually. Unown technically too.
>Creating something out of nothing has never been a thing in the series outside of the literal god pokemon ArceusWouldn't need to, it would be generating them out of whatever energy Terastal uses. Also wouldn't be different in concept from being able to make Porygon, which was straight up a digital construct that manifested in the real world as intended. Or again, Unown.
>Also you're simplifying the idea of the imagination theory, granted that's also because no one can decide if its passive or not.Fair enough.
