This time it was Enoch, which ended up being a pretty severe blow right before Lt. Surge. Feels pretty bad that I'm not getting the chance to use Golem any time soon.
Wanting to conserve my Diglett, I ended up improvising a bit and gave the Dig TM to Mike. I'm... not sure I'd recommend that. While he's shaping up to be an excellent force against anything weaker or slower, when I brought him up against Raichu, he only lived through a single Thunderbolt by the skin of his teeth. It seems that you really have to bring a resistance or immunity along with you if you don't want any deaths - fortunately Nadja was there to fill that role.
I also grabbed the Old Rod and a Magikarp around here, because why not. Gyarados is a fun Pokemon to have around, but I'm definitely thinking of throwing it back in the box at some point so I can take advantage of it in future games.
