So the save file from my randomized Emerald nuzlocke got corrupted somehow, decided to try Yellow instead. My first attempt was an absolute disaster, I got a useless starter and failed all my encounters before Pewter City and then got crithaxed to death in Viridian Forest trying to earn money for more balls.
Needless to say I re-randomized and second time was the charm apparently. My starter was Flowre the Vileplume which came with dual STAB and powders. Absolutely BASED. I easily curbstomped DICKS and his Ivysaur, caught a fucking Dragonite on the first route thanks to Sleep Powder (like I said, absolutely based), was visited by the Coconut Man of No Moves (fucking genwun stone evos) and also picked up a Shellder and a Ditto. Yeah, I'm not using a Ditto. Brock had Machoke and Slowbro, nothing too scary. Got my Boulder Badge and a Sludge TM for Flowre.
