They've done the whole forcing-you-to-trade thing by releasing multiple versions of the same game with exclusive encounter tables, but now they have megas to push that even further.
Want a new mega? Trade and collect. Want an old mega? Trade and collect. Makes trading a lot more important when you introduce things like that. But no, Jewfreak had to fuck it up by centralizing the games too much. Want all the new Pokemon in this gen? Get the newest game of this gen. It's different than just adding a new Giratina form, or a new Rotom form, because rather than adding one or two new forms you essentially have ~15 new Pokemon per game. It isn't as minute as just altering the stats and typing a little, it's straight up adding a new stage evolution to the Pokemon.
Disgusting. More outroar needs to happen to get to GF directly. I'm not even get the new games and see if others do the same. Dropped sales in the remakes of the highest selling games in the franchise should send a message, but people are still going to buy the shit anyway. They've failed to capture my interest enough in the remakes to get them, but I would have gotten them anyway just because of the small nostalgia trip and small new features. But with this in mind? Nope, just lost the sale with the jew choice.
